140L S/S COMMERCIAL FOOT PEDAL BIN

The 140 Litre Commercial Grade Foot Pedal Wheelie Bins are Australian made from the highest quality materials. The body and lid are made of HDPE (high density polyethylene) and the foot pedal mechanism is stainless steel. These are available in a variety of sizes: 60 litre, 80 litre, 120 litre, 140 litre and 240 litre, as well as the 4 wheeled foot pedal bins in the 660 litre and 1100 litre sizes. 

The use of Hands-Free wheelie bins are essential in public spaces, where cross-contamination of bacteria and other pathogens are a very real and constant risk, particularly in the healthcare sector, as well as food manufacturing, schools and other public work spaces.

The industrial strength stainless steel foot pedal allows the operator to partially open the wheelie bin lid, or fully open it for extended use, then close when finished, all by simply using the foot pedal. The angle the lid opens to, is determined by how long you hold your foot on the pedal.With the foot pedal bin, there's never a need to touch the lid of a wheelie bin again.

USE THE FOOT PEDAL FOR PARTIAL OPENING, TO DISPOSE OF WASTE WITHOUT TOUCHING THE LID 

... step and retain the foot on the foot pedal and the bin lid opens to a pre-specified height enabling waste to be placed in the bin. The lid automatically closes when the foot pedal is released. The degree of opening is determined by the level of pressure applied by the operator whose hands do not touch any part of the bin or the lid during the open-use-close operation.

USE THE FOOT PEDAL TO LEAVE THE LID OPEN FOR EXTENDED USE, THEN CLOSE AGAIN USING THE FOOT PEDAL

...step and release the foot pedal to lift the lid to the fully open position. This action allows the bin lid to remain fully open for extended use. The lid is closed by depressing the device a second time. The bin is opened and closed without the operator ever touching the bin or the bin lid.

ACCESSIBLE FROM FRONT OR EITHER SIDE
The stainless steel foot pedal device wraps around the front and sides of the wheelie bin and is easily used from the front or either side of the bin. This facility is especially useful when bins are located in difficult or confined spaces and front access to the bin is not always possible.

ATTACHED TO BIN
In response to users requests, the stainless steel device is securely attached to the wheelie bins and cannot be removed from the bin (the device cannot be 'borrowed'). The foot pedal device is fully compatible with, and does not interfere with collection by waste trucks.
